IMG_0379.jpeg

Phyllis Olins holds a master’s degree in educational counseling and has trained extensively in conflict mediation.

As a liaison between Poway Unified School District and families of students in crisis (from 1989 through 2009), she applied conflict mediation strategies to heal family and academic relationships.

She was appointed to the California State Advisory Commission for at-risk intervention and was presented the Connecting for Success award by the San Diego County Board of Education.

With over 30 years of experience, today Olins applies insight, forgiveness, and authenticity as tools for empowerment. This process is outlined in her upcoming book, How Not to be a Jerk (or a Victim).
